Passengers flying to the US will face increased screening, especially for larger electronic devices such as laptops so get to the airport earlier than you normally would to avoid missing a flight! Inbound British Airways flights from Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia or Turkey to the UK will not permit laptops, tablets or larger mobile phones to be carried on. Additionally, peripheral devices that can be attached to laptops or tablets are also subject to new security requirements.
